At Grace Baptist Church we desire to love and live like Jesus.
This is our mission, and small groups play a critical role in
the fulfilment of our mission. In small groups we have an opportunity
to discover and engage the Christ-centred life by learning together,
loving each other, serving each other and impacting our world
together. Healthy small groups form the backbone of a healthy
church.

Small groups at Grace Baptist Church seek to move individuals
into a Christ-like community of loving care, acceptance, Biblical
instruction and service with 8-14 other people. Groups meet in
homes throughout the city and are as diverse as the people who
attend our church.
- Seeing every adult at GBC connected to a healthy small group where they experience meaningful community.
- Groups and individuals growing spiritually, relationally, and evangelistically, demonstrated by mutual accountability and a joy in being together.
- Love expressed in such a way that it spills beyond the group and "infects" those not yet connected to a group.
- Groups serving the Lord, one another, their network of contacts, and the Body at GBC.
- New leaders identified, trained and released to multiply the ministry.
- Groups that are growing and giving birth to new groups on an ongoing basis.
- People coming to Christ because they experience the reality of the Body of Christ through small groups.
